Group Exhibit in Durham NC
Mary Anna Hovey is part of an ongoing exhibit in her hometown. The purpose of this exhibit is to celebrate the historic inauguration of Barack Obama. The exhibit items are memorabilia from the Obama inauguration collected by many members of the Eno River Unitarian Fellowship in Durham, North Carolina. The exhibit went up July 4, 2009 in the vestibule of the sanctuary of the church, where it will remain until August 2.
Mary Anna’s journey daybook pages which can be seen on the “Notes and Journey Daybook Pages” page, were made on the freezing cold January morning at the mall. Her description of the process of making these pages is responsible for their charm and spontaneity.
Bravo, Mary Anna!

I just returned from Cedar Key where we had a productive JDB board meeting and lovely supper last evening. The upcoming “island cruise” adventure on November 14 promises to provide many opportunities for exploring, learning about the area, working on our JDBs and catching up with friends. I hope all JDB alums, both new and old, are considering putting this on their calendars. I look forward to seeing you there!
