The Journey Daybook, Inc.

Dear Journey Daybook Alums –

On Friday, January 20, 2012, Susan Torgerson James will host our monthly Journey Daybook  alumni adventure at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainesville.  We will meet at the museum at 10:30am and have 2hours to look at exhibits that interest us and work on pages; we’ll break for lunch at 12:30 and then share our work.  If the weather permits, we can simply bring our own lunches and picnic together outside;  also, Susan will find out if we might eat at the tables in the entry, just outside the museum shop if the weather is inclement. The museum has a café with good salads, sandwiches etc. which is also an option.  When you RSVP to Susan, you might indicate a preference and we’ll let you know the final plan for lunch a day or two before the event.

To check out what is currently on exhibit at the Harn, you can visit their website:  www.harn.ufl.edu.   Please note that we cannot use water in the galleries—pencils, colored pencils etc. are fine.  Also, the museum has no entrance fee but you will need to pay $3.00 or $4.00 for parking—another good reason to carpool!
