Under the huge, gnarled canopy of an ancient live oak tree, 18 JDB alumni (a record number!) celebrated ourselves and our work by making pages, feasting, and reviewing our personal pages. Kanapaha Gardens is so large and rich that it encouraged each of us to work in our own solitary, contemplative spaces, and the results were reflective of our own, individual practices. Enjoy some photos from this stunning day and look at the “Journey Daybooks” menu page to see the individual pages of some our alums made on Saturday.
