The Journey Daybook, Inc.

Mary and Jackie are happy to host the August Journey Daybook Adventure at the Harn Museum in Gainesville- at the corner of SW 34th Street and Hull Road. We’ll have this adventure on Saturday, August 11, from 10 AM until after lunch. For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, the new Asian Art wing is wonderful and includes two outdoor spaces—a lush garden with a water feature and a Zen garden with raked sand and large rocks.  All of the galleries have benches that we can sit on—and the museum also has folding stools that you can use.

We will gather at 10:00 in the lobby of the Harn at the tables just outside the gift shop. Then we’ll wander and do pages for two hours;  please note that we cannot use paints/water in the galleries, so plan to sketch with pencil or pen or colored pencils.  We’ll regroup around noon to have lunch downstairs in the museum’s Camellia Court Café and share our pages.
