Greetings from Barbara B, our president –

Five of us (Lois, Carol P, the two Sue’s and I) met at Sue R’s home in Cedar Key this morning and assembled the sketchbook.  The book is going to be wonderful and we all had a great time gluing and learning and giving advice to one another.  Twelve Journey Daybookers contributed 28 images.  The book is now resting under weights (bricks, I think) at Sue’s.  On Tuesday, she’ll bring the book into Gainesville and I’ll add a table of contents and a couple of other items required by the project organizers and send it off.  It must be postmarked no later than the 15^th.  Sue R will try to make sure that everyone who contributed from Cedar Key gets to see the book this weekend and I’ll do the same in Gainesville before mailing it.   I also plan to take pictures of each page so that Peggy can occasionally post one or two on the blog.  I understand that eventually we’ll receive a disk with the pictures, but just to be sure we have a record . . . .
