Last Friday twelve of us had a very elegant three-hour adventure: a time for working, fellowship, and lunch that included tea sandwiches, a fruit bowl, scones, and tea. Four of us worked outside in warm, partly cloudy weather and a slight breeze. Chuck and Peggy worked under the old curved tin porch. Our hostess, Jackie, painted the building from across the street and here is Susan C working in the garden.
Many of the participants dressed in tea time clothes and hats and reveled in the lovely ambiance of Teatime as our mothers or grandmothers might have done. Several people made pages that celebrated the many fixtures, flowers, and china everywhere. Drawing inside in air conditioning was certainly a more comfortable option! This was such a beautiful Journey Daybook Adventure that offered ease and comfort for a change. Thank you, Jackie and Mary!
