The work of the Journey Daybook, Inc. at the Florida Women’s Reception Center will be featured at an exhibit due to open this Friday, 28 September. This summer, a friend, Robert Ponzio, who is a well-known artist and Art Director at Oak Hall, offered the valuable opportunity to showcase our work and that of the inmates we have worked with at this Florida state prison for the past 5 years. The exhibit will be open to the public through Thanksgiving.
You are invited to view over 50 journey daybook pages, photographs, and a documentary film that demonstrates our work. A reception will be held at the Cofrin Gallery from 6 through 9 PM. The address in Gainesville Florida is 7500 SW 75th Street, just west of Tower Road.
